Dear Vitality 4 Life,
My son is four years old and is anaphalactic to all tree nuts, peanuts and borderline allergic to soy and use to suffer terribly with eczema too. We found out about his allergy when he was 15 months old. After speaking with many other mothers this is what our own opinions are. Most of the people that we know with children in the same boat have been born by ceasearen section with mothers who are ultra healty. By that I mean consuming more nuts ect during pregnancy and breast feeding. I was told to consume more nuts during pregnancy and breast feeding as I am vegetarian and my body that was lacking in some important vitamins and minerals would benefit from consuming them.
Of course we cannot say that this is the cause of the problem but it's a pretty big similarity amongst many of my fellow families that their children suffer with this deadly problem.
